Our prepayment policy applies to all bookings. If you need to make special arrangements, contact our reservations team at res@shoestringsvicfalls.com. Please note that any costs incurred at Basalt during your stay are to be settled with them directly, they are a separate entity.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: • Cancellations made 0 - 14 days before travel: 100% cancellation fee • Cancellations made 15 - 28 days before travel: 70% cancellation fee • Cancellations made 29 - 59 days before travel: 50% cancellation fee • Cancellations made 60 -90 days before travel: 20% cancellation fee Please contact us directly for any COVID-19 related cancellations and we will assist accordingly. We recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations.

Our Prepayment Policies are as follows: • Cards Accepted at this property: Visa/Mastercard • Shoestrings Backpackers Lodge Vic Falls accept these cards and reserves the right to hold an amount prior to arrival FIT Payment • 50% on confirmation • 100% 45 days prior to arrival Group Payments • 10% non-refundable deposit secures booking. • 60 days prior to arrival a further 50% is required. • 30 days prior to arrival full payment is to be made. Group Bookings • Booking status is required at least 50 days prior to arrival • Rooming list is required 40 days prior to travel Final number will be required 30 days prior to travel. • Check in is between 14:00 - 19:00 • Check out is 10:00 AM • All extra beds are subject to availability. • Contact us directly for any queries about special group numbers.
